Hyper-V, CentOS and screen resolution

One of the things that I was uncomfortable with the screen resolution of CentOS on Hyper-V.

After I found an post (https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/virtual_pc_guy/2014/09/19/changing-ubuntu-screen-resolution-in-a-hyper-v-vm/) with the resolution for Ubuntu, although the people in the comments say it worked for them, its not worked for me.

After some research I found an article (http://www.netometer.com/blog/?p=1663) with the command that worked in my environment.

Follow the steps below:

In the CentOS terminal write the command below followed by Enter.

grubby --update-kernel=ALL --args="video=hyperv_fb:1200x700

To the command take effect, the server needs to be rebooted.

systemctl reboot

CentOS_screen_resolution
